Peter joined Footes in 2003 when the firm purchased the accounting division of Perpetual Trust Ltd. During his time with Footes, Peter has attained his Associate Chartered Accounting qualification. Peter commenced his working life with Pyne Gould Guinness Ltd (now known as PGG Wrightson Ltd), bringing to Footes over 30 years of experience from various divisions. The latter part of his employment with them was in the accounting and trust divisions.
He was born in Leeston and is married with a son and two daughters. His main outside interest apart from his family is sports but mainly rugby, having represented South Canterbury at senior level, managing the senior South Canterbury Rugby team and is presently Head Coach of Roncalli 1st XV.
