Joan shifted to Timaru after the Christchurch earthquakes - this provided a good enough reason to head south! She joined the Footes team in 2012 to cover a maternity leave position and is now very happy to be a permanent member of staff. She has held a variety of HR positions in the hotel industry, both in London and NZ. Joan has three young daughters and when not at work she enjoys the challenge of managing their busy lives together with some relaxation time for herself, including cooking and UKTV!
